By some miracle or maybe just a little dumb luck, Ivan has returned. His body is healed but left in a weakened state. No matter, Harper and the clan are thrilled that he’s back.
Unfortunately, Ivan coming back starts a whole new chain of events.
There’s something wrong with Ivan, and it quickly becomes clear that the only way to fix what’s wrong is to reestablish the clans’ connections with each other.
It’s an easy enough task to complete, but it’s made a little more challenging with Erik’s sudden aggressiveness. The clans’ eagerness to reestablish their connections might have something to do with that, though.

Just when everything seems to be falling apart, it suddenly comes back together leaving James and the clan in a state of shock. One second Ivan was gone and the next he’s living and breathing as if nothing had ever happened. It’s a joyous moment but one that doesn’t feel real.
Once the shock wears off James is left with some unresolved feelings that had been bothering him even before Ivan’s death. They need to be dealt with, but first, he has a detour to take.
That detour takes him to Jack’s hotel along with Drake.
Staying at Jack’s are a small group of hunters; hunters who have ties to the ones who had nearly destroyed the clan. To defeat the threat that they pose James is more than ready to kill. He’s prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure Harper’s safety, but he’s also determined to handle the situation without Erik.
Of course, when Erik finds out about James's secret, he rushes in to take over. His presence alone annoys James. He’s had enough of taking orders and lately Erik has been more overbearing than usual.
They clash, and Erik does something drastic to put James back into his place. It’s a move that ends up nearly costing James his life when they attack the hunters.
After the hunters are destroyed James and Erik are left figuring out how to repair their relationship. They find their way but not before their lives become even more complicated.
Will this new complication destroy their clan entirely or will it bring them closer? Only time will tell.

“James, you can come with me and, Drake, you can go with Jack,” Erik announces.
Drake grunts in agreement while Jack nods his head.
I, on the other hand, sigh while scrubbing my hand over my face. I hated that Erik was going to be right next to me the entire time. He would more than likely keep me from ever having the chance to take down one of the hunters.
“Do you have a problem, James?” Erik questions me.
“As a matter of fact, I do.” I blurt before I can stop myself.
“Jack, do you mind if we have a moment alone?” Erik sighs as he turns his attention towards Jack and Drake.
Jack nods and then pats Drake’s arm. “Come on; I’ll show you which room we’ll be going in.”
Without another word Jack and Drake exit the office.
Once they’re gone, Erik releases a low growl. “I’m getting really sick of this, James. We’ve never had issues like this before, so what’s changed?”
“Like I said before, you’ve changed.” I snap.
Before he can say a word, I continue. “You’ve become a controlling asshole, Erik. Everything we do, every move we make, has to be approved by you. It was never that way before.”
“That’s because we didn’t have Harper,” Erik replies. “Did you not see what she went through when we lost Ivan? I’d rather avoid that at any cost. If I’m being controlling it’s because I don’t want anyone going off on a suicide mission like you’re doing right now.”
He takes a moment before speaking again. “You lied straight to my face, James. That’s something that you’ve never done before.”
“I didn’t have much of a choice. You would never have let me leave.” I reply.
“Damn right I wouldn’t have.” Erik breathes out.
Silence fills the room as Erik turns his back towards me while brushing his hand through his hair.
For a moment, images of attacking Erik run through my mind.
Without warning my anger builds while my fangs cut into my bottom lip. The vampire within me was more than willing to test Erik and his position as leader of our clan. It was an odd feeling but a powerful one that I honestly didn’t want to go away.
I take a step forward just before Erik turns back around to face me.
In an instant, his eyes turn red. “You don’t want to do this, James.”
“Yes, I do.” I bite out.
“James, if you attack me then Harper will never forgive you,” Erik warns.
“I can deal with that after I’m the leader. At least then I’ll be able to have her whenever I choose, and the rest of you will have to wait for your turns.” I reply.
There was a part of me screaming to stop, but I couldn’t seem to.
My vampire side was very much in control, and there was no reining it in now. It was too late for that especially after what I had just said.
Without warning, Erik rushes forward. He slams into me while wrapping his hand around my throat. As we fall to the floor, he squeezes his hand just enough to cut off my air.
My head hits the unforgiving concrete floor with a crack.
The world around me spins as sparks flicker in my eyes.
All fight leaves my body instantly.
“I didn’t want to do this, James. You forced my hand.” Erik bites out as he glares down at me with unbridled anger.
“You cracked my skull.” I choke out.
“And now you’ve learned that I will never take a threat lightly. I don’t care how long you’ve been a part of my clan; I won’t hold back when you threaten what’s mine.” Erik growls before he loosens his grasp.
“There it is; the truth. You don’t want the rest of us to have Harper.” I whisper while closing my eyes.
Erik stands and then walks away without saying another word.
I remain on the floor while my head aches from the trauma it had endured.
“James…?” Drake breathes out as he walks into the room suddenly. “What happened?”
“I challenged Erik and lost, that’s what happened,” I answer honestly.

Release Date and teaser for Ivan!!

Release Date for Ivan

Friday, September 29th, 2017!!

I've got a lot of work to make this happen but there it is, the release date. As soon as I've got the description ready and the pre-order I'll post links. For now since I'm falling a bit behind I'll leave you with a teaser.

****

After a few minutes James looks at me. “This is bad, like really, really, bad.”
“What is it?” I ask reluctantly.
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to know what I had gotten myself into.
“I can’t do anything with it. If I do it will blow. If you move it will blow. Marcus rigged it so that no one could diffuse it.” He explains.
“What aren’t you telling me?” I push.
James sighs and glances away from me for a moment before finally answering me. “It’s rigged to a timer.”
“How much time do we have?” I ask.
“We have less than five minutes.” He replies.
“Damn it.” I curse.
I pinch the bridge of my nose while closing my eyes. “What do we do now?”
“I’ll search the rest of the house. Once I’m done I’ll figure out how to get you out of this house alive, okay.” James replies.
“James…” I breathe out. “I don’t think that’s a good idea. The last thing we need is both of us stuck in this position.”
“I’ll be careful, Ivan.” He insists.
Without another word he rushes off to check the rest of the house. Closing my eyes I take in a deep breath to keep myself calm.
I wasn’t honestly sure I would get out of this in one piece.
I sure as hell wouldn’t risk James’s life if it came down to it. I would force him to leave and stay behind to deal with this situation myself, even if it cost me my life.
After the longest three minutes of my life James returns.
“Did you find anything?” I ask.
He holds up a few sets of keys. “I found these scattered around. I have no idea why but we might need them. With the games that Marcus liked to play we can’t take anything for granted.”
I nod in agreement. God only knew what the keys were for. For all we knew they were necessary to release Silas. Then again they may have been placed there just as a distraction.
Either way it was smart thinking on James’s part to collect them.
“Were there any downstairs? I didn’t pay attention.” I reply.
“Obviously…” James snorts before sighing. “I’ll check quickly.”
He rushes off in a blur of motion before returning a few moments later.
I raise my brow in question as he holds up a sealed envelope with Harper’s name written on it.
“What the hell?” I breathe out.

James shrugs. “Who knows, but this doesn’t matter right now. Right now we have to figure out how to get you out of here before you get yourself blown up.”

Coming Soon!!

Blood, Book 2 in The Vampires of Linbridge Series

If you missed my post yesterday then I'd like to announce the release date again. Blood will be released (insert drum roll)...

Friday August 25th, 2017!!

Isn't this exciting!! I cannot wait to share the next book in this series with you. I've worked long nights in order to get it written and edited. I'm so glad that it's finished and ready to be published. So, after a long wait here it is. The pre-order link is below.

****

Running from Linbridge is the last thing Harper ever expected to be doing, but she really has no other choice. There was no way she could stay, especially after killing Clara and attacking Ivan and James.
At least she doesn’t have to run alone. Drake stays by her side through it all, just like he had promised to.
Even though they intended to run far from Linbridge they end up staying in the neighboring town where they find a friendly hotel owner who gives them a much needed break.
Just when Harper has a chance to catch a breath the clan finds her. James finds her and he’s not about to leave without her. Surprisingly he doesn’t hold what Harper had done against her. He only wants her to be safe and right now she’s not exactly safe, not with the vampire that Erik and Ivan are after running loose.
After some convincing Harper gives in and allows James back into her life. After all he hadn’t hurt her nearly as bad as Ivan and Erik had. James had remained in the background, until now. Now he was the only connection to the clan that Harper had. If she ever expected to get them back she needed to form a strong relationship with James.
With time and a push from James, Harper gives in and returns to Linbridge. Of course the fact that Ivan and Erik have been oddly silent pushes Harper to make her decision quicker.
Once James and Harper return to Linbridge they become increasingly worried, and for good reason. Ivan and Erik have changed, and not in a good way. They’ve allowed their vampire sides to take over fully causing them to be vicious and cruel.
Bringing them back lands on Harper’s shoulders.
She’s the only one who can reach their softer sides.
Just when things seem to be coming back together everything spins further out of control, especially after she meets the newest resident of Linbridge. Silas, he’s human but there’s something that’s drawing Harper towards him. His blood is calling to her even though she can’t drink it.
There’s only one choice to make and that choice only causes more problems. Marcus attacks and takes Silas away once he learns about Harper’s connection with him. Marcus then uses that bond to torture Harper along with Erik, Ivan, and James. He aims to destroy everything they have unless they give into his demands.
The clan isn’t going to allow that to happen, not without a fight.
Marcus has to be destroyed.
Unfortunately once they finally get the upper hand on Marcus the hope of getting Silas back disappears.
Harper’s left with more choices to make, ones that could cause the end of her or the end of the clan. For now all that Harper can do is keep Silas from completely losing hope.
They will find him; they just need more time and a little luck on their side.

Coming Tuesday August 22nd, 2017...

Sacrifice, Book 3 in The Angels Evermore Series!!

I bet I had everyone excited for a moment thinking that this post was about Blood, Book 2 in The Vampires of Linbridge Series. Well, guess what...I picked a release date for that too.

It will be coming Friday August 25th, 2017!!

Now that everyone has had a second to get their excitement out I'm going to continue on with the post for Sacrifice (Tomorrows post will be for Blood). Sacrifice is the final book in The Angels Evermore Series. I couldn't be happier to bring this series to an end. I love the story and the characters but this was one of the hardest stories that I've ever written. I swear pulling teeth would have been easier. Anyway, it's come to an end and while the third book isn't exactly as long as I had wanted it to be it wraps up the story nicely. I've even included some extras from Eli's Point of View at the end.

****

Being in Marcus’s grasp is the last thing Piper wanted, but she’s stuck. It’s the only way to keep Eli and the others safe for now.
Unfortunately, is doesn’t keep her completely out of trouble.
It certainly doesn’t stop the war looming over their heads either. What it does do is speed it up. Eli wants Piper back and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.
Marcus’s little games nearly end it all.
One terrible choice leaves Piper feeling unsure if she should even return to Eli. It was a simple mistake but one that she would never be able to take back. It was a mistake that could destroy their relationship.
When Eli finally comes after Marcus they end up finding themselves on the same side.
Their little feud is nothing compared to what’s about to happen.
A war amongst all angels is in the making. It turns out that Eli and Piper’s union had caused and unexpected impact. Angels can now be killed by other angels.
One by one the pure angels are being destroyed.
The end of days is closer than they expected.
Living in their last moments, Piper fixes her relationship with Eli while Marcus tries to make up for his own mistakes. They must pull together or parish in the upcoming battle.
Everyone must make sacrifices.
They will lose each other, but in the end they all get second chances.
True love will prevail.

Release Date!!

Release date for Erik!!

I was going to wait until tomorrow to announce the release date but I decided to do it today since its already available on Amazon for pre-order.

So, here it is, the release date.

Friday, June 23rd, 2017!!

Are you excited?

***This short novella is intended to give this series a different point of view. This story is not required to be read between Book One and Book Two. Book Two will begin where Book One left off.***

Told from Erik's point of view.
In an instant Erik’s life comes crashing down around him. He runs after Harper only to find out that she’s attacked Clara, Ivan, and James.
Unfortunately, Clara’s dead.
Her death sends Ivan into a tailspin. He wants Harper to pay for the damage that she’s done.
Erik realizes too late what led up to this. They had pushed Harper too far. This mess was their own fault. Clara’s death was on their own hands, not Harper’s.
Of course getting Ivan to realize that takes time, time that they don’t have.
In order to keep Harper safe Erik does the only thing he can to ensure that Clara’s death doesn’t get pinned on Harper. He lies. He blames a known killer. Marcus. This lie comes with a price. The council wants him caught. They want Erik, Ivan, and James to hunt him down.
Given no other choice Erik agrees. Getting Ivan to agree to it is another story, and getting James to agree to the hunt is impossible when his attentions are only aimed at getting Harper back.
The clan breaks apart but Erik manages to pull it back together, if only for a moment.
While James runs after Harper, Erik works with Ivan to mend their relationship while they hunt down Marcus. No matter what they have to make certain the lies that they’ve spun are never uncovered.
Will they be able to capture this dangerous vampire? They will, but only if they work together.

Wolf (Life's a Fairytale Collection) Book 1

Wolf is the first book in the Life's a Fairytale Collection. This collection will contain modern day stories that have some fairy tale connections. For example Wolf has a little bit of Little Red Riding Hood history, but it comes with some unique twists to the classic tale. I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I did writing them.

****

Wren is a normal everyday girl, at least that’s what she believes. What she doesn’t know is that she’s part of a much bigger picture. She’s about to find out though and it will change everything she’s ever known. When a new guy shows up at school she can’t help but feel connected to him. It’s a connection she has to fight and keep secret from her boyfriend, Jake. Just when her life begins coming together it comes unraveled. Some secrets are hard to keep but others aren’t meant to be kept. Wren discovers that she’s a descendant of the one and only Little Red Riding Hood. The second everything comes out into the open Wren’s world changes drastically. She learns that Jake is a hunter, along with their friend Noah. Her other close friend, Aiden, is a descendant of Van Helsing, and Liam…Liam is the wolf from all of the stories she’s been told about. The only difference is that Liam isn’t a big bad wolf. No, that’s not how Wren’s story goes. In fact it’s far from it. Instead of being afraid of Liam, Wren is drawn to him. They share a deep connection, but that’s all thanks to the curse they share. It’s a curse that had destroyed her mother’s love, her grandmother’s love, and the many descendants that came before her. The curse was meant to destroy her happiness. Thankfully the curse can be broken. It’s not an easy task though and with danger lurking around every corner it makes it nearly impossible. Add the fact that she can’t tell Liam and Jake how to break the curse and it makes it that much more difficult. Fortunately fate takes the situation into its own hands. They are saved but not without a price. Loved ones will die. Wren’s faith will be tested. Her heart will be broken. Only the one she truly loves will save her in the end.

Bitten (The Vampires of Linbridge) Book 1

**Release Date: March 17th**

Harper is a young girl who grew up in a special town, a town called Linbridge. What’s so special about this town? Well, it might be the simple fact that most of its residents are vampires. They aren’t the bloodthirsty type though. They only want to live in peaceful harmony with the humans surrounding them. Of course no one dares to defy the rules that the vampires have placed over the town. When Harper’s eighteenth birthday comes it comes with the chance to become a protected or an unclaimed. The protected are well taken care of by their vampire protectors while the unclaimed are fair game for whatever goes bump in the night. A week before her birthday her current protector, Finnick, rejects his claim to continue being her protector. Harper’s whole world changes in an instant but it’s not all bad. She meets a few new friends. There’s a connection she has with them, one that she can’t exactly explain. Along with the new friends she is reunited with an old one, Alex. He’s one of the unclaimed. Just when things seem to be at their best, everything once again crumbles down around Harper. Lies are uncovered and some truths are revealed. There’s a bigger picture to Harper’s connection with her newest friends. They aren’t what they seem. In fact they aren’t even human. They’re vampires, part of a vampire clan to be precise and they hunt down other vampires who break the laws of their kind. Harper soon falls for one of the clan members but it all comes unraveled with the sudden appearance of an old flame. Clara has held the clans hearts for centuries. Will Clara’s past with the clan destroy everything Harper has or will another threat take her life away? Can love prevail or will it only destroy her more? Harper may run but she won’t be able to hide forever.

Taken from her wedding Parker quickly finds herself in a world of trouble once again. She finds herself right back in the one place she had just escaped from, the Island.
Dillon and London are with her this time making matters that much direr. Unlike last time she doesn’t want to risk anyone’s life in order for them to escape. The last thing she wants to do is lose someone else.
She especially doesn’t want to lose Blue, not when she’s so close to happiness.
What she doesn’t know is that someone very close to her isn’t who she’s thinks they are. Every step they take to get away only ends up getting thwarted.
Parker is being betrayed.
When Parker does find out who is against them her heart hardens. There’s no one she seems to be able to trust completely. She surely can’t trust Emmett since he was the one who brought her into this mess again.
There are only a handful of people she can truly trust with her life and most of them are locked in the Island with her.
With a little luck on their side they might escape the Island but that doesn’t mean that they’ll escape the torment that the Hunters have in store for them.
In the midst of everything Blue is taken away from the pack. When Parker finally finds him she discovers that his mind has been twisted and she can’t get through to him. Her heart breaks as she pleads with him to remember her.
She only catches glimpses of the real Blue. He’s nearly too far gone for her to help. Any help she can offer becomes useless because once he realizes how dangerous he is to Parker and the pack he does the only thing he can do to keep her safe, even if it means sacrificing their relationship.
Everything gets flipped upside down and Rowan takes Blue’s place by Parker’s side, but even though the heartbreak leaves she still can’t let go of Blue.
Unable to let him go she takes the only option left to her.
She has to bring him back.
She must save him from his own mind, but first she needs to step up and lead. She has to become the Alpha her father taught her to be.

The third and final book of the Among the Dead Trilogy has been released today. You can purchase the series to read on Amazon, or you can read it for free with Kindle Unlimited. Enjoy!

Escaping Rosenberg hadn’t exactly been the easiest task but the tragedy that comes after nearly destroys River.
She once again finds herself all alone. With her heart shattered into pieces and her hope dwindling by the second she musters up just enough strength to continue on.
She couldn’t quit now. Giving up wasn’t in her no matter how much she wanted to end it all.
After roaming aimlessly through the forest she had found escape in she manages to find a safe place to rest, a small town with a secret past of its own. God only knows what had happened once upon a time in the upstairs of the house she chooses to hide in.
With the threat of Rosenberg behind her it will have to do. She just has to hope that the house’s previous occupants don’t return.
Just when she loses all hope of finding her family and Zach again she sees him, standing in the window of the house across the street. Within seconds everything is threatened to be taken away from her once more. Davy has her in his grasp, but not for long.
As he takes his last breath he reveals an agenda that they all hoped wouldn’t be true. Rosenberg will do anything to kill them all. That threat only leaves River, Zach, and the others one option to take. They must take down Rosenberg and its leaders in order to secure their future.
But how, how can they take it down without an army? It’s nearly impossible until fate brings that army directly to their doorstep.
The question now is will it be enough. Will they win their war with the town or will they lose? Will death come for them all or will River finally find peace in a new home?
With a little luck they might just make it.
