Teaser Tuesday!!

Teaser Tuesday!!

It's that special day again. I have a surprise for everyone. I'm going to make this a Double Teaser Tuesday!!  I'm also going to make this a cover and title reveal for Book 2 of The Vampires of Linbridge.

So, this weeks teasers are going to be from Erik, Book 1.5 and (insert drum roll) Blood, Book 2 of The Vampires of Linbridge Series.

First, the teaser for Erik...

“Why are you following me?” Marcus bites out. “Did someone send you after me?”
Instead of answering him I stay silent. I wasn’t about to give away any details that he could use against us. The less he knew about us the better advantage we had.
At this point it was all we had. The element of surprise was long lost.
“Did Elizabeth finally send some hunters after me?” Marcus snorts before continuing on. “I wouldn’t put it past her. Honestly, I expected it sooner.”
He growls as he tightens his grasp on Ivan. “I’m not going to be hunted down like some animal.”
“That’s not what we’re here for. We were searching for a girl.” I insist.
“What girl?” Marcus questions with a raised brow.
“The girl that I had been watching from the stage, the same girl you decided to go after.” I clip out.
“Interesting…” Marcus replies as he places Ivan down to his feet. “She must be something if the two of you are after her.”
“She belongs to us.” Ivan snaps.
Marcus growls and easily tosses Ivan to the floor before a maniacal grin crosses his lips. “We’ll see who she belongs to.”
With that threat he disappears from view within the blink of an eye.
“Where the hell did he go?” Ivan asks in a panic as he jumps up to his feet.
“I don’t know.” I breathe out as I scan the dark room that we were standing in.
Never had I ever witnessed a vampire disappear before. It was a power that I never knew existed. To be honest it scared me, especially since he now had his sights aimed at Harper.
“We messed up big time, Ivan.” I whisper.
“I know.” He breathes out. “Let’s fix it before it ruins everything.”

Next, the cover reveal and teaser for Blood, Book 2...

“Drake…” I sigh.
He reopens his eyes to look at me. “Yeah…?”
“Do you think that we’re safe here?” I ask.
“Yes. I highly doubt that anyone would expect us to stay so close to Linbridge.” He insists confidently. “They probably think that we’re miles away, not in the next town.”
I nod and then place my face into my hands while closing my eyes tightly.
“Relax, Harper.” Drake commands gently.
“That’s easier said than done.” I breathe out. “I can’t stop thinking about what I did, Drake.”
After a moment I look up at him. “I killed someone, Drake. I attacked Ivan and James. I will never forgive myself for that.”
“You couldn’t control yourself, Harper.” He replies.
“That’s what scares me the most.” I whisper. “I don’t want to lose control like that ever again.”
“As long as you practice control it won’t happen again.” Drake replies before continuing on. “You can’t beat yourself up for what happened though. They pushed you into losing control. They’re the ones who should have known better.”
“I should have stayed away from them.” I breathe out before I lie back on my bed.
“Do you really think that’s possible? You’re part of their clan, Harper. I don’t think you’ll ever truly be able to stay away from them.” Drake replies seriously.
“Probably not, but it’s not like I can go running back to them now.” I reply with a heavy sigh. “There’s no way they could ever forgive me.”
“You’re underestimating their love for you, Harper.” Drake insists.
“Drake, if they loved me they never would have brought Clara into Linbridge. They never would have chosen her over me either.” I argue.
“They messed up. I bet they realize that now.” He replies.
“Don’t you think…?” I reply sarcastically.
Drake grunts in response before he lets out a low groan. “No matter what I don’t think returning to Linbridge anytime soon would be wise.”
